Climate and Weather
- The tropical rainforest has a very humid climate due to the amount of rainfall
- Because the tropical rainforests are located near the equator, the weather is hot and wet
- The sun warms the earth and the water evaporates, condensates and then falls back to the Earth
- The average temperature is 77˚F and it never gets below 64˚F and above 93˚F
- The amount of rainfall is about 60-160 cm(8-14 feet) per year
- Most of the rainfall doesn't reach the ground, instead the trees act as a canopy and catch the rain
